While this provided an interesting story, it was somewhat slow. If you are a beginner with mythology, this will be great for you. If you are already familiar with mythology, this can still provide an interesting twist on Greek mythology. There was one thing that bothered me: as a British man, the main character uses "Jove" instead of Zeus or even Jupiter. Children will get bored of this, but others might find it interesting. It's free, so even if you don't enjoy it, you lose nothing.

If you can divert your sensibilities from the incredibly racist comments (albeit perfectly acceptable in the author's time), it is a very amusing read. As a fan of greek mythology, I enjoyed this read, and the author's snappy tone.
This book is very short and frankly, not terribly interesting. It was doubtless fascinating to another audience many years ago, but not to me now.
